Which English course should I take if I want to improve my writing

<p>I'm not the greatest when it comes to reading and writing (especially writing). In fact, English is my worst class... I'm picking my schedule for junior year. Would taking an advanced English course like AP Eng. Lang. help me in any way? I'm not sure if this matters, but I'm a sophomore taking APUSH, which includes a lot of reading and writing. I have a B+ in that class right now. Here are some of my options for English:</p>

<p>Advanced Composition A (if I take this course, I can take Honors Advanced Comp. B, which is considered to be the most rigorous English class in my school)</p>

<p>AP English Language (I sort of enjoy analyzing and synthesizing)</p>

<p>AP English Literature</p>

<p>There are more but I just figured that these are the essential classes.</p>

<p>Improving Writing will come from any English class to be honest. I also don’t like English but I can say that AP Lit. had harden me. However it is a reading class. You do more writing in AP Lang. But Adv. Comp should be ideal for your if you only want to do writing. </p>

<p>But I say go for AP Lang, find out who the best teachers of these three subjects are because sometimes teachers make all the differences.</p>
