My school's principal, who writes my couselor recommendation, asked my which expression for class rank on Commonapp is better:
1. top 6%
2. 67/1100
3. 67
4. top 67</p>
<p>Number 2 is most informative. 3,4 don’t really provide much information, and number one isn’t really used (most schools give top 1, top 5, top 10 etc if they use percentages), so go with 2.</p>
