<p>Are you applying to any SUNYs as financial safties? You should. Stony Brook and U Buffalo have very strong science programs, great instate cost and you will not be help back from applying to any med school. </p>
<p>FYI- My LI valedictorian son with high stats, 4.0 UWGPA, 12 AP’s etc, accepted to UNC. No merit money at all. Keep it in mind. You need a financial safely, whether SUNYs or a private school that gives great merit aid.</p>
