Can anyone recommend some interesting Gen Eds to take?

Do you want easy gen eds or fun ones? And any specific Gen Ed Requirement?

Bio 105- Biology of Social Issues
Theater 100H- Intro to Theater Honors if you are in Comm. Col.
Geo-Sci 360- Economic Geography
Geo-Sci 370- Urban Geography
Sport Management 202- History of Sport
Envi Science 101- Intro to Environmental Science

Well, both I guess, hah. Thanks for the list, I will check those out. Also, since you clearly seem familiar with UMass, do you think it would be too much to take 19 credits first semester (6 3-credit classes, 1 seminar I have to take)?

Also check out intro to sociology and psych classes, but check on ratemyprofessor.com to make sure the instructor isn’t bad.

And yes, it probably will be too much for your first semester. I recommend either 15 or 16. The most I have ever taken was 18 and while it wasn’t that hard for me, I definitely did have a lot of work to do.

Ok, thanks a lot for your help.

I’ve heard good things about the Biology of Cancer and AIDS class.

Hey,

Unless you are truly interested in a subject, take gen eds that will cover multiple requirements. For example, I’m taking a gen ed on Universal Healthcare that covers two requirements - SB and U.
