As the title said, which general course do you guys recommend me to take over the summer at CC or online? I am an incoming freshman and any advice will be very appreciated 
If you do not have AP credits for the history courses or the govt courses, those are good to take online from a CC. I would personally recommend taking Texas Govt online. I actually think there is value to taking US Govt at UTD if you have the class time available. I would also say take the history prior to the Civil War online just because you have gone over that material so many times previously. I think more recent history, again would be good to take at UTD just to give you a good working knowledge of it. I think it gets shorted in Texas HSs. It is good to take some of these GE credits at UTD just to broaden your knowledge and to help with GPA if your other classes are math and the hard sciences.
My DS18 took his high school history class DE on-line this year HIST 1301 and HIST 1302 and next year he’ll be taking Understanding Music MUSI 1306 and Texas Government GOVT 2306.
