canadas my safety n I was wondering which gives most aid to intls? mcgill/utoronto/waterloo/ubc?

I got loads from waterloo (compsci) + president's scholar last year, little from UBC (4000 dollars) and something along the same lines for Toronto.

aite... and what are ur stats like.?

when I applied last year:

690M, 660V
SAT II: 640 WR, 690 Physics, 680 IIC
all subjects in school were 90%+

Pretty s h i t t y stats i know, but I wrote decent essays and got solid recs.

well high school counts in canada i think... n uve got 90+.. kewl..

ive got arnd 70 %..:-(

hmm....I dont think 90% of every system is comparable to Indian School system... In India, its Toooo tough to get 90%+ in 12th.
There must be some other way of calculating %age for Indian Students.

Prachi u can email the Waterloo adcoms regarding the conversion of Indian grades...

I have emailed the Waterloo U. Prachi, u email them too...

aite.. ronty can u forward me the email.. then illl carry on from there..
i mailed them.. got the automated reply n then this standard reply ..

n what do you mean send them conversion of Indian grades?

I will forward u the email when I will get... About conversion, I guess that they use some formula to convert Indian School Scores into their Canadian equivalent...

McGill doesn't give much at the undergraduate level.
