Which GPA/Rank do I report?

I see that a lot of times, colleges ask for GPA and class rank, but they rarely ever specify weighted or unweighted… If this was my GPA/Rank data as it appears on my transcript, which would I report?

Note: These aren’t my actual stats, but they are similar…

Weighted appears better but colleges look at unweighted because those are generally all the same on 4.0 scale. Weighted scales can vary a lot from schools.

But I have heard colleges use UW anyways and use ur transcript to get uw, weighted doesnt matter to them

If both appear on your transcript, then it doesnt really matter. Colleges will look at the one they want to look at

Weighted ranking to gauge your performance in context of your school and unw gpa for a general sense relative to other applicants. Though common app requires only one, transcript has both but list your weighted on CA since it’s better.
