Hello guys, I am an international student and I am planing to apply to Purdue University wich it application deadline is March 1. I have read that the GPA of the last 3 years of high school are required. I am in the 12th grade, so, how can I send them 12 grade's GPAs if I didn't graduated yet?

Thank you in advance :)

You send them your current GPA which usually includes 9th-11th grades at this point. You will eventually need to send final grades once you are accepted and graduate high school.

But why will they need them if they already accepted me?

They will want to see that you haven’t given up after being accepted. They want to see that you haven’t gotten lazy and thought: “I’m in. I don’t need to work for it anymore.”

Do I really need to send them the 9th grade’s GPAs??

American students do. International applicants do also, unless there’s a compelling reason why they can’t.

The other reason why you have to send your final grades after you are admitted is that the university’s offer of admission is contingent upon your successful completion of the preparatory program that you are in. If you don’t finish secondary school, the university withdraws its offer of admission.

Purdue’s priority application deadline is [February 1](Deadlines & Dates - Undergraduate Admissions - Purdue University), not March 1.

Purdue also states clearly on its website that an official high school transcript is a required part of your application. In the U.S., “high school” means grades 9 through 12. Since you have not yet completed 12th grade, the transcript submitted with your application would be through 11th grade only. (And a complete transcript, including 12th grade, would need to be sent as soon as it is available, following the end of the school year.)

If you are unable to submit a transcript for 9th grade, contact Purdue. If you simply prefer not to send a transcript that includes 9th grade, then don’t apply to Purdue.

It is stated March 1 in College Board <a href=“BigFuture College Search”>BigFuture College Search;

I’d suggest you take a look at the deadlines page that I provided a link to above. Depending on your desired major, not applying by the priority deadline could mean you’ll be shut out.

And, really, why would you rely on a third party website when you can go to Purdue’s own website and get the information yourself?
