Two options:

An arts school...good academics...no AP or IB, so I would take online AP courses through Laurel Springs [six of them, good sports teams

A public school that offers IB, good academics, good sports teams

The thing is, I've heard many horror stories about how horrendously difficult IB is....and I am confident that I would have a much higher GPA at the first school.

FYI...I'm a good student, well rounded...[not your stereotypical nerd]

Thanks

I say number 2 because if you are trying to get into Harvard they want you to challenge yourself not just have a good GPA by taking easy classes

Thx for the help…yes…those threads ARE eerily similar…very odd!! ;)

Why would a school take someone who chose to take all easy classes over another who wanted to challenge himself with the most difficult courses and succeeded all the same?

Also, I think this topic may more appropriate for the general college admissions forum on CC.

but they wouldn’t know that i could go to the second school :)
