Which Honors Program is best?

Hello,

Which honors program would you guys recommend for someone who wants to become a doctor. Specifically in the College of Natural Sciences, I was looking at the Dean Scholars and Health Science Scholars. Out of these two, which would be the most beneficial to a student with the goal of becoming a doctor?
One more question, is the BME program in the Cockrell School a good path for Pre Med or is it more engineering based than biology?

Can’t answer the honors question. In the document at the link above you can see acceptance rate by major on page 4-5. BIomedical engineering students seem to do pretty well getting in with a 66 percent acceptance rate. Not as many of them try as Biology majors, so it does not appear to be as common of a route to med school.
