Which housing would you suggest?

I have my eye on Rockoff. I like modern buildings. Is it as nice as it seems online?
I like apartment style housing. What do you think is my best bet?

You have to be 21+ to live in Rockoff. The building seems nice from the outside and I’ve heard good things about it, but keep in mind that the location isn’t all that great. It’s in between Cook/Douglass and College Ave so you have to take the bus everywhere and there’s only one bus that goes to Rockoff during regular hours. When choosing housing at Rutgers you have to keep in mind where most of your classes will be and try and avoid long commutes.

i dont think you have to be 21 anymore, but preference is given to juniors and seniors.

All freshmen will live in freshmen dorms, during the sophmore year you get to choose where you want to live depending on your lottery number

Im not a freshman, and I am almost 21.

Which campus do you all prefer? Im interested in hearing different opinions.
For my preferences I think I put College ave, Livingston, and Cook in that order. The other 2 I dont remember which order. But I hope I dont get them.

This late in the game I doubt I’ll get my choice regardless. But what are your opinions on the campuses in regards to beauty and aesthetics?

Cook/Douglass is the most well-known for its aesthetics, but it’s also known among many students as “the farm.” The campus has so many plants and farm animals, so it is a very bucolic and charming campus. But it gets kinda dark at night.

Hey I have a spot in Rockoff Hall for you if you’re interested. Message me for further information.
