Hey guys, I could use some help right now. I'm a rising senior looking for some experience in the engineering field (that's what I what to do in college). I got an internship in a geotechnical lab, in which I will be analyzing, prepping, and running tests on soil. It's very physical and hands-on, because I have to grind down the soil, and do various tests on it. It's really more of geology than engineering. However, there's a biomedical engineering place that I'm applying toward (don't know if I got in yet, they're letting me know in a couple days) that sounds really cool. However, I don't know what I'll be doing. They focus on repairing medical equipment in hospitals, so if I get to work in a hospital, great. But I'm concerned they will have me doing busy work (like filing or what not). If the latter is true, which one should I take. The former is more hands-on, while the latter is at an actual engineering firm. And as a follow up question, which would look better on a college app? Thanks!

Did you get into BU RISE?
