I mean which is best to look into into if you want to do stage work after graduation? I auditioned for 2 MT programs & didn't get in but got into a theatre arts program. The curriculum is really similar but of course it lacks critical courses like piano & voice lessons. And it;s a BA instead of a BFA. I was told I could minor in music & I suppose that would give me the all the same courses a MT would take BUT i was also encouraged to re-audition for the program at the end of the fall or spring term. What should I do? Minor in music? Settle for theatre arts? Audition for another MT program- like maybe AMDA? I've heard mixed reviews about it but one of my friends auditioned & she loved it & another one is there now for BFA Acting & he's loving it. It's getting close to the end of the school year & I just don't want to start screwing people up on whether I'm coming or going. Advice would be great!
