<p>When I said that not everyone took every available Honors/AP course, I meant that in some cases they used regular classes as substitutes, especially if they were not particularly strong in a certain area.
Some people do take every class as Honors/AP, but usually only 2-3 people per class actually do.</p>
<p>neither will get into a single ivy based on those stats alone. get a 4.0 with 8 APs and a 2300- then you will have a shot</p>
<p>You better be a recruited athlete or have $10 million that you’re willing to donate in order to get in with those stats.</p>
<p>Simply put, it’s best to get A’s in AP classes (as opposed to B’s in AP’s or A’s in regular classes). Your competitors will have that, and if you don’t, you’re at a big disadvantage.</p>
