which is "better" for me?

middlebury college or emory? i plan on doing business/econ/math

Where do you live?

Both great schools. I don’t think Middlebury has business. Very different schools. I think it depends on whether you want a university near a city or a rural LAC.

Personally, I’d choose Middlebury because I like rural/small town.
But Emory is really top notch.

It mostly depends on personal preference regarding non-academic factors. Academically, they are both excellent.

It depends on what you want…

Middlebury is in a tiny town in the middle of Vermont. Emory also has a residential campus, but it’s located in Atlanta, an economically thriving city with lots to do.

Middlebury has a big focus on internationalism and languages; it’s a big part of the academics there. Emory is more traditionally focused.

phooooey. i like both for all the reasons you guys listed..
im interested in business, econ, math and languages..
i prefer city/suburban to rural but i could bear rural and small college. change is nice too  middlebury’s language program is a good enough reason to go to rural tooo.
i guess ill just wait till results for emory come out..

Well, if all other things are equal, but you prefer urban/suburban to rural, pick Emory.
