Which is better for transfer admissions? Precalc, intro to calc ?

My school has two calculus classes the intro to calc(5 hours) and precalc(4 hours) from what I understand the former is a brief overview of calculus in its entirety whereas the latter is more in depth and prepares you better for later calculus classes such as calc1+2 which go for more breadth. My current math professor didn't explain this very well to me so I'm a bit confused as to which one would be the best for me, the only college level math I have taken thus far is a business statistics(math135 at my school)

Since I'm applying for transfer admission next year at UNC, Virginia and some other schools I was wondering which one would be better from an admissions standpoint. If it helps my major is probably going to be in business or economics.

if the pre-calc better prepared you for calc, than take that. you will definately need to understand calc if you are majoring in econ. have you not taken calc before?

No I haven't actually, the highest level math I have taken was in high school and it was algebra3/advanced functions/modeling. It's been such a long time since I doubt I will remember enough for it to matter though.

Is there any way to ask this question to someone at one of the schools you're planning to transfer to?

I think I mentioned that I talked to my current math professor and she just confused me further about it. I think I will end up taking the 4 hour precalc over the 5 hour intro though I don't have room for a 5 hour class since I'm already at 19.

No, I mean talk to someone in admissions from UNC, Virgina, et. al.

Over here in Cali, there's this website (assist.org) that lists matriculation agreements between the CCs, the UCs, and the CSUs. We can check to see exactly what classes the 4 years want us to have before we transfer. Not sure if you have something similar in your state, so the next best thing is to ask at the source.

yes, sorry about that. It's a good idea I shall have to see if I can talk to someone about it.
