I'm planning on transferring from a distant UC to UCLA because its like 15 min away from my house. But anyways I hear a lot of people talking about how important your major can be when transferring, which brings me to my question. Is it easier to transfer as a chem major or bio major to UCLA from another UC campus? Assuming all other aspects of my application are great.

No response. Not surprised since the amount of UC to UC transfer students are incredibly low.

Have you looked at UCLA Undergrad Admissions: Majors - College of Letters & Science yet?

According to this, biology is impacted, so it will be much harder to get in to. Chemistry is not impacted.
