Which is better? Graduating in five years or four years?

If you’re willing to do 5 years, then I’d say go for it. it depends on what you want, but I think you’d be happier having more time. good luck with your decision, whatever you choose.

If you’re interested in sticking around and learning more, go for it. I’d rather see the extra year go for a graduate degree (difficult in a year) or a double major. Personally I spent 14 years in college (8 full time and 6 part time), collected 4 degrees and never thought much of it.

Be careful with that. There’s a reason why grad programs state the minimum full-time status is 9 credits (as opposed to undergrad’s 12).

The only reason I’ll be able to do grad school in one year is because the BS/MS program allows 6 credits to blur between the two - meaning it’s really only an additional 24 credits- not 30.

Beauty of engineering. All laid ourt for you. (Mostly)

The problem with me wanting to go for a Master’s is that even if I could get it in that one year (which I’m not sure is possible, though maybe), I’d have to do alternative credentialing and that takes three years to do, so it might be wiser to just go for the Undergrad degree which is normal credentialing.

If you arent paying for the school, yeah why the hell not.

If you are, I do not see why you are willing to pay a whole year worth of tuition, especially if its a private school to double major in two completely opposite fields. Theater and French!??!

Right, because the University of South Carolina is a private school.
