which is better macro or micro econ?

which is easier to deal with micro or macro econ and is comp or us gov. better?

micro. it's less abstract than macro.

if you are mathy take micro and if you are more englishy then take macro

i would say macro help me understand the world better.
now when i look at the news or look at the newspaper i go ahh so thats whats going on

micro is not a lot of math... both are about equal but if you want to be an econ major micro is much more important than macro(although both are used). Comparative Government is much more interesting than US.

thanks. but i figured out that my school only has micro and us gov but that is alright because i might do a self study in those

you are an idiot!

these are different disciplines, all that are very important if u are going into a humanities major!

so just learn it all.. macro and micro arent much work!
us govt was a joke this yr.
comp govt is a lot of reading about unfamiliar countries but otherwise very interesting!

wait are you calling me an idiot? Ive talked to many econ majors and micro is definitely more of a focus in the long run than macro. Sure into macro classes are required but its not nearly as important as micro.

what i am saying is that you need to learn both??

its like saying: ill just learn fractions in math, dont feel like doing decimals..

I think his original question is which one is better.

decimals are much better than fractions.. :)

Well, OP was just asking which AP test to take, not which subject to learn. OP can learn the other subjects in college if necessary.
