which is better? my ACT or my SAT?

ok i took the SAT twice and got a 2200 the second time

CR: 710
M: 700
W: 790

I took the ACT once in December and got a 34

E: 33
M: 36
R: 36
S: 31

my SAT has already been sent to all my colleges, my question is should i bother sending my ACT or is it not that different from my SAT? will it help to send it?

What colleges are you applying to? If you are going for super-selective ones, then you might want to send both. It definitely wouldn't hurt your chances at all.

Take a look at the chart on the bottom of the page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ACT_(examination)

not to hijack the thread but i have the same quesiton

sat:
cr - 670
m - 660
w - 640

act:
e - 30
m - 31
r - 28
s - 33

Convert ACT to SAT - How to Convert SAT Scores to ACT Scores
ACT-SAT Concordance

bicyclekick:
E: 33 = 740
M: 36 = 800
R: 36 = 800

2340 ACT vs 2200 SAT, so your ACTs are better.

UnleashedFury:
e - 30 = 670
m - 31 = 740
r - 28 = 635

2045 ACT vs 1970 SAT, so you also did better on the ACT.

Hope that helped by converting the individual scores as opposed to the total score.

thank you.

A 34 ACT is roughly a 2260 SAT. ACT is slightly better, so it might help to send it.

Thank you! I have never seen ACT's table. Being that it is from 2008, it might be the most valid data available.

Your ACT is beast! Send that for sure.
