CS Grads from both schools are recruited by big tech companies. CP Pomona is good but, isn’t significantly better for CS than either of them. If you have no preference, flip a 3 sided coin to make your choice. I happen to like the residential/college town experience you’ll only find at Chico - so that would be my choice.
SLO is a cut above but, very difficult to get into as a freshman - and even more difficult as a transfer. It also happens to be in a college town… If you were admitted as a freshman, you should seriously consider going. If you are thinking of transferring in - think again. As you can see from the link, last year they accepted less than 200 transfers into the College of Engineering, just 10% of applicants (vs 22% for freshmen).

You have some very good options available to you. Pick a school where you will be comfortable and you are confident you’ll succeed.
