<p>Don’t double deposit unless both schools specifically allow it. Many colleges state on their reply cards that by sending a deposit, you are certifying that you have accepted no other offers. Be careful. Double depositing may result in the offers being rescinded. It’s not just the deposit that is at stake. Every year there are a few people who ask about this thinking it will buy them some more time. Here’s another thread on the subject.
