Which is easier to get into, Pratt or Trinity?

Which is easier to get into, Pratt or Trinity? Also, does anyone know the admission rates for each? Thanks.

I would think trinity is easier to get into. Pratt students probably require 780+ scores on SAT math and SAT2 science and maths, along with grotesquely high class ranks and other academic qualifications, while Trinity is more hollistic, and looks at the applicant more as a person than does Pratt.

I think the admission rates for Trinity is lower because they get so many more applicants that are just 'hoping' their well roundedness will get them in, while the applicant pool for Pratt is more competitive and smaller, and therefore its admission rate is higher. ~20% for Trinity, ~29% for Pratt- the difference only based on the size of the pool and the competitiveness of it.

That said, I don't think you can use these numbers to identify which is easier or harder. Your best bet is to apply where your interest is. If you wanna be an engineer, apply to pratt. If not, apply to Trinity. Don't use admission rates to decide which school you apply to; that's not quite a recipe for success.
