Which is harder: Math IIC or SAT I Math?

So, which test do you guys think is more difficult?

I think it really depends on what your stronger in. For the most part they are both based on different material

i got 760 on both :/

umm i would say both are pretty easy.

Depends on what you're good at. If you have a deep understanding of complex subjects or are good at not making mistakes.

dpeends, the math II has harder questions but a more generous curve. Math I is easier, doesnt include trig but has a harsher curve. Most colleges now require math II if your taking a math one

SAT I Math - Easy as anything.

Math IIc - I find it easy because I took 'A' level Mathematics and the scoring curve is generous.

Math Ic - I hate this test. A few mistakes and your score goes down considerably. Besides, I'm not as familiar with the material tested on Math Ic as with that tested on Math IIc.

Hmm, I think I may have confused people by saying "SAT I Math". I should have been clearer and said, "SAT Reasoning Test Math".

But, for the hell of it, I'd like to hear comparisons between level 1 and level 2 :)

Thanks to all of you who have responded thus far :)

It depends what Math you're in right now...I took Math IC right after I took my Math B regents (it's just like trig and adv. algebra) and there was nothing of that sort on the Math IC...so the stuff on the test was a little vague to me.

So far, I've found that the SAT reasoning questions are a fair bit easier than the SAT math level 2 questions I've seen in Meylani's book and Barron's book.

Although those aren't real tests so using those books' tests is not a fair metric by which to form such a comparison...

Easier: SAT 1
Easier to get a good score: I would say even, Math II has a slight edge
Test I would rather take: Math II

I've found, though, that the SAT Reasoning math is more like an IQ test whereas math level 1/2 seem to be like 'math' tests. What do you guys think?

^ I agree with you. SAT Reasoning Math doesn't test advanced mathematics skills - it tests your logic, how quickly you respond to a simple problem. The SAT Subject tests test more advanced Math skills. And the scores you get on practice tests can give you a pretty good idea of what your actual score will be. My main problem was that I got nervous, kept staring at the clock, and wasted time. You don't waste a second on these tests.

By the way, I posted comments on all 3 Math tests because I wasn't sure if you'd made a mistake. Most people ask for comparisons of Subject Tests, not a Subject test and section of the Reasoning test. Lol. :) You were quite clear - I'm the one who decided to give additional information.

I like the Math IIC more. Easier for me... for some odd reason.
