which is harder.. ucb or ucla

berkley...by alot

is berkeley still a lot harder to get into even though UCLA gets tons of applicants?

From my school last year a lot more kids got into berkeley than ucla

yea my friend get into cal but got rejected from UCLA too

it is harder to get into berkeley. only reason it SEEMS harder to get into UCLA is because they receive about 10k more applications than berkeley. both accept something like 1/4 of their applicants, and berkeley barely leads LA in terms of the stats of accepted students.

So far, UC Berkeley is slightly harder to get into than UCLA... UCLA admits a slightly smaller percentage of applicants, but UC Berkeley admits students with slightly higher GPAs and SATI/SATII scores.

Some people get into Berkeley and not into UCLA, for others it is just the opposite.....It really depends on the individual application and the administrators.

one of the UC admissions officer came to my school and listed the order of difficulty of the UCs as UCLA being the hardest..and then UCB, UCSD/UCSB, UCD/UCI, and UCR/UCSC/UCM

LA is harder then Berkeley even though Berkeley is the better school!!!

I think it depends on the major. I know for sure that it's WAYYYYYYYY harder to get into Berkeley if you plan to major in something like engineering or computer science.

if you apply to an impacted major at any of the schools, it is obviously going to be more difficult to get into
