Which is higher - your ACT or SAT?

There seems to be a "myth" on CC that the ACT is slightly eaiser than the SAT. In my own experience, I have seen very few posters whose SAT was higher than their ACT.

But personal experience is not proof, so I decided to poll everyone :)

So, using the CB concordance tables to compare scores (
http://professionals.collegeboard.com/profdownload/act-sat-concordance-tables.pdf) converting ACT to SAT with the single score columns and adding M+CR to W, let's see which test wins ;)

EX: 32 ACT composite with 29 E/W combined would equal a 1420 M/CR + 650 W= 2070 SAT.

I personally have a 36 ACT composite with a 32 E/W, so converted SAT= 2320.
My SAT was a 770 CR, 720 M, 800 W (ironic on the W, huh?) = 2290.

Therefore, ACT wins for me.

ACT: 1
SAT:0

(Conversions won't be exact, but it's at least backed by the evil CB's research ;))

lol SAT>ACT for me =D
SAT 800 760 780 =2340
ACT 34 comp + 31 english/writing =2200

clearly SAT lol
And when I started I was convinced my ACT was going to be higher (though I never expected a 2340 XD)

=D

ACT: 1
SAT: 1

ACT: 34 comp, 31 english/writing = 2200
SAT: 730 710 640 = 2080

ACT: 2
SAT: 1

ACT by far. I did absolutely terrible on my SAT, it doesn’t matter in MI so I didn’t really try and am not sure if I am going to take it again. My SAT scores are especially not as high because I had a migrane on the day of test and had had it for a few days prior. I couldn’t even think during it. The essay and early sections were okay since my head didn’t hurt too much then but killed by the end. Anyways, I’ll stop now…

SAT: 690 630 690 (w/ writing I got an 11 on the essay but did terrible on the MC)=1950
ACT: 34 composite 35 Eng/writing =

urg. that thing isn’t opening for me…but I know my ACT is better than my SAT anyways.

ACT: 3
SAT:1

the difference between my ACT and SAT score is ridiculous
(both taken for first time)
ACT- Composite-29
32 math, 28 science, 27 reading, 26 english

SAT- total-2290
740 math, 750 reading, 800 writing

^yeah so much for ACT/SAT correlation pshhh haha (i took ACTs before SATs thinking they would be easier)
i am not an ACT person. i think the reason why my ACT scores were so low is because i didn’t even get the change to finish most of the freaking sections because of the time restraint. haha. so obviously if you can’t finish 1/4 of a section, your odds aren’t good. and the science was absolutely terrible. i was on question 25 (40 q total) when the proctor called five minutes.

ACT: 3
SAT:2

Above I said:

ACT: 3
SAT:1"

I updated my reader and was able to open it.

SAT: 690 630 690 = 1950
ACT: E:35 M:34 R:32(I recieved a 34 another time) S:34 W:12
Composite:34 English/Writing: 35 = 1510 + 800 = 2310

So my ACT is WAY better than my SAT.

The updated count (I didn’t count myself again)
ACT:3
SAT:2

act-33 sat 1440
thats a wash
