<p>For those of you that are more familiar with AP classes and the tests and also familiar with the IB program, which do you think is more rigorous? And why? Which do colleges think is more rigorous/impressive?</p>

<p>I dropped out of IB because IB courses were a lot harder than the AP courses.</p>

<p>It really varies from school to school. At my school (the only school with IB within thirty miles) the only IB science is IB Bio. So most of the kids in the IB program are liberal artsy while the AP kids are more sciency. Also, the average IB kid is probably smarter than the average AP kid, because anyone can sign on and take one AP class, but you have to apply to get into the IB program. However, if you take the top five from IB and AP, I’d have to say the AP kids are smarter.</p>
