Which is the best ivy, and cornell is the worst ivy?

Is cornell the worst ivy? I wanted to apply there for engineering physics, but i wonder how it compares to other smaller schools such as Rose Hulman and Harvey Mudd. I've heard many people say "Cornell is the worst ivy", and "Cornell sucks: it's for people who can't get in to any other ivy", etc., but what do you think? Do you agree with them? Should I focus on applying to Rose Hulman and Harvey Mudd, and change my Cornell app from ED to RD?

And which Ivy is the best, at the moment, just out of curiosity (I figure it's NOT cornell!)

HYPER DYPER

ps Many people have given me advice as follows:
"Cornell SUCKS! You'd be better off at Brown!"
"Cornell is so large that it's impossible to get a good education there; it has a name, but not a very good one!!"
"Cornell is for people who know for sure that they're not getting in anywhere else".(i.e. other Ivys, other 2nd band selective schools...)
"Cornell is good...but..."
"Cornell...hmmm....good...but, you'd be better of at Rose Hulman and/or Harvey Mudd."

oh and btw, i'm an avg. student - 2080 SAT score, 33 IB, few ECs etc. - what are my chances at cornell? oh, does cornell take the highest individual SAT scores (i.e. highest math, highest verbal) or just highest aggregate? (cause then my SAT score would be 2140)

From what I've heard, Cornell is a perfectly fine school. One of the big reasons it's not as selective as its ivy peers is that it is much larger in comparison.

Honestly, you don't sound as if you know exactly what you want from a school yet. I think applying ED might not be such a good idea if you're having second thoughts about Cornell.

I would suggest reading more about the academics and student life at these schools from their websites and student reviews so you can find out if they suit you. Don't let any prestige-crazed peer make you think that Cornell is a bad school. I bet you can get a good undergraduate education at any of those schools, so choose the one that fits you best.

Do not apply ED to any university if others have the power to influence your perception of that school. On a related note, Cornell happens to be #1 in the nation in Engineering Physics. Finally, there is no such thing as the "worst" Ivy. All Ivies are excellent.

dyper-
Cornell is ranked #1 in the nation for engineering physics.

Cornell the worst ivy? HAHAHAHAHA! Whoever told you that isn't thinking big enough.

I think that notion came about simply because they have the highest admit rate out of the ivies

I think Hyper-diaper chose his SN wisely, and, predictably dumped a big load of troll.
