which is worse? sat or sat subject test?

<p>Both schools (nyu and fordham) allow you to send either sat or 3 sat II scores, and I got 650 world history, 680 lit, 640 bio and 1900 SAT. Should I send the subject tests alone, or send the sat alone? Which looks worse?</p>

<p>I just took the general sat, so I’m not sure what my score is. I’m just guessing it’ll be in that range. I’d like to major in English(British as and american lit/creative writing)</p>

<p>Hard to say without the breakdown. Since you want to major in english your math score is probably less important.
I think your literature score is pretty good (like 77th percentile i think), biology and History are bit less though. I think you should wait to know your exact SAT 1 score. </p>

How come these Universities don’t allow to send both SAT scores ?</p>

<p>Okay now I’ve gotten my SAT scores and I got 1930 : 700 W, 650 M, 580 CR. So would it be wise to send in any my SAT subject test scores to NYU? I got 680 in lit, 650 in world, 640 in bio. I think if I sent the lit score in, that would replace my low CR score. Could someone help???</p>
