Which Ivies did you apply to?

Yale (in EA), Harvard, Stanford, Duke, UCB, UCLA

im sure if you wanted tallies, wouldnt it just be easier to go to the specific college message board, look at the roster, and just see the number?

Penn, accepted
Umich, accepted

applied and then withdrew from: yale, columbia, cornell

Ivy League: Penn
Non - Ivy: UNC Chapel Hill (Accepted)

Ivy: Darmouth, Cornell

Non-Ivy: Stanford (accepted)

Princeton ED (accepted)

Was going to apply to Yale, Harvard, Penn, Dartmouth, and Columbia from the Ivies, and Stanford, Georgetown, and Northwestern from the other top schools.

Ivy: Princeton, Cornell, Dartmouth
Non-ivy: Duke, GAtech

Brown, Dartmouth, Cornell

Ivy: Yale (deferred EA), Harvard
Non-ivy: Vanderbilt, Bard, BU, Indiana, Cleveland Inst. of Music, New England Conservatory

Duke! (Deferred ED)....it is better than some Ivies

"Duke! (Deferred ED)....it is better than some Ivies."

Name one.

Harvard, Yale, Princeton

Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Dartmouth (is Wesleyan considered a top university?) - I'm beating myself up over not applying to Brown. No one told me it was somewhat bohemian, had an open curriculum, and was filled with hip, brilliant people! :(

yale (georgetown, uva)

Whoa there tore...I chose Duke over Princeton, Columbia, and Cornell and the majority of my friends here chose it over Brown, UPenn, Dartmouth, and other Ivies. I think very few people would put Duke below schools like Dartmouth, UPenn, Brown, Columbia, and Cornell, and in fact most would put it above many of those mentioned...

This is once again retarded. Just because you and your friends chose it over some schools does not make it better than them, nor would the reverse situation make it worse than them. Guess what? There are just as many people who did the opposite and chose Princeton, Columbia, Cornell, Brown, UPenn, Dartmouth, and other Ivies over Duke. So what's your point? Not that I'm defending tore, but your comment was beyond subjective.

xanatos makes a good point

Princeton ED

didnt really think about any other schools nor did i care for any other schools so i was going to apply to a buncha other random schools =)

Ivy: Yale (accepted ea), Dartmouth (likely letter),

I'm going to:

................................................ DARTMOUTH 09!

I understand. I think that his comment just angered me and I wasn't thinking when I wrote the first sentence. Sorry, it wasn't very logical--pretend like I just wrote the second sentence.
