Which Ivy are you checking first?

I flipped a coin

Penn
Cornell (dream school)

I'll probably do C, Penn, Y, H, Princeton.

Cornell

I only applied to one, but I started an app at Penn. I wish I had applied to Columbia in retrospect.

K_twin... Cornell and Columbia both start with C, which one are you talking about?

Man this is bothering me. It's weird, they've already decided, or having a few last minute committee meetings or whatever, probably getting my envelope ready this week. I can't do homework, I can barely sleep. I just want it to be Thursday so I can move on with my life.

It's weird, right now I don't know what state I'll be in 5 months from now, but in a few days I'll know.

And this is Ivies, but does anybody know when Stanford is sending emails regarding how to check admissions decisions? They said April 1 but that's a Sunday, so I'm thinking Monday April 2? Or maybe Friday March 30?

Princeton, then Brown.

Yale first, then the others in no particular order. My chances of getting into Yale are really small but the school's pretty much the deal breaker for me.

I have a doubt here dont beat me up because of it because i dont know much about the rejection rate from universities since im not from US.

Why do everyone says they will get rejected from Harvard?? If Harvard rejects so many people, how come it still has the same amount of students other top US universities have?

Or you guys maybe trying to say that the ones that get accepted by harvard dont go to sites like this one.. which would explain why there are so few people that get accepted by harvard here?

Why not open a window for each school? Some have the prompts available ahead...type in your username/i.d. and password...don't hit "submit" or "log in" until 5...let them all process at once and hope your bandwidth gets you through! Whichever window loads first is the first you read!!

That would probably induce a stroke.

i dont know but im checking dartmouth last. i think i have the best chance for dartmouth.

Harvard, the only Ivy left, and then Stanford (although not an Ivy), assuming it is released then. That office said nothing except at least by 1 April.

Princeton--no chance
Columbia--no idea, never did an interview
Penn--my top choice; I would be really sad if I don't get in. Unfortunately, I don't think my stats are good enough. =(

Can't wait for Thursday. I just want to get it over with...

I'm def checking Yale first, because I'm pretty sure it'll be a rejection, then Harvard, which I'm not sure of, then Dartmouth and Princeton, both of which I've gotten likelies from. So hopefully, my checking will end on a high note....

I'm checking Penn first, but then again, that is the only Ivy I applied to so the choice isn't that difficult to make.

I think its ridiculous that just about half of you guys applied to the biggest grab bag of Ivy League schools that I've ever seen. Most noteworthy being people that applied to both Dartmouth/Cornell and Columbia, I mean.....

harvard! definitely

Most of the ivies make sense as a set. I agree that Columbia + Darmouth makes almost no sense though.

Well, I applied to Penn, Harvard, Yale, and Princeton. (Not Dartmouth, Columbia, Brown, or Cornell.) Penn is vastly different from the other 3. Princeton is much different from Harvard. Really, applying to HYP makes no sense either.

I'm so jealous you guys get to find out your decisions online!!!! Way back in the dark ages of the 80s and 90s, snail mail was the only way to find out...my EA acceptance to my top choice Ivy came in a regular envelope and I was convinced they denied me flat out (what a cruel trick!!!) until I actually opened it and read the admit letter. Best of luck to you all!!!!!
