Which language should I take considering my situation?

Mill, I said- obviously not ALL of them, same as not ALL Americans are rude. Oy vey you people take things WAY too seriously on here.

Sorry, French people are rude, just like Americans are rude.

If you want to travel in South America, take Spanish. If you want to travel in Africa, take French. If you want to travel in Asia, take Mandarin.

Disclaimer: THAT IS A GENERALIZATION. Not EVERY South American country speaks Spanish, not every country in Africa speaks French, not every Asian country speaks Mandarin. Just before I offend anyone

LOL, Hannibal Rising sucked, but I watched it for him :3

Thanks for the further advice! Now if only my Spanish and biased Math teacher will stop bashing on the French language’s practicality. =___= Jesus, they need to open up their minds.

Thank you!

Oh, and I have another question: Because of the budget cuts, the high school is offering a summer program so that I would’ve gotten my full two years of French for four weeks during the summer, everyday for 2.5 hours. Should I do it even if I’m not sure if I’ll take French for four years?

I find it interesting that a lot of people don’t like Spanish. I don’t either, even though I find it easy after having taken French for several years. I wonder what it is that makes us think it sucks so badly.

Maybe it’s TOO easy? Lol, sometimes, it’s insulting how easy it is.

^ Maybe. I think the courses are designed at the same speed as other courses, even though it’s a lot easier. And the thing is, I’m doing it for IB so I have to sit through it until next May.
