You won’t get emails from penn, cornell, columbia, or princeton. Those are all online logins. (Not 100% sure about Columbia but dead sure about the rest).

Therefore, you will open Harvard both first and last.

If you don’t think you’ll get into Harvard, check Harvard first and work your way down.
If you’re reasonably confident, check Cornell first and work your way up.

That way, you end up with whatever pleases you the most.

Do you want easy mode> hard mode, or boss fight first?
(sorry, putting things into video game terms just makes sense and keeps me entertained and sane.)

My and I decided to do:
Harvard>Cornell>Columbia>Yale

The reason for that progression is that I might get some compensation after the first fail, and then there’s building excitement for Yale.

I think I’m going to do Princeton first (since it’s my only login). Then by the time I’ve had enough to react to the decision, I’ll have emails from Columbia/Harvard waiting. At this point, I’ll proceed to check whichever one came soonest.

i figured… if i get to my computer at 5pm (maybe i will, maybe i won’t; i’m supposed to see some friends, but they know i want to check this), if the email from harvard is there, i’ll check that first. if not, i’ll check penn and then princeton and then see the email. i’m working my way up :P
