<p>I have been told by several people not to do parent plus, but to take out the loans in the students name. On the Discover loan once you start your repayment, if you are timely you can remove the cosigner after 24 months. I believe Sallie Mae you can to but I think it’s a longer period of repayment before the consigner can be removed.</p>
