Hi - how do you figure out the right major to select on the application for CALS? I know it won't be written in stone, and the admissions person told me if the school thinks a different major would be more suitable, they'll give you a call during the admission process. Initially, Bio and Society looked like a good match, but now also interested in Physics (maybe to become a secondary science teacher). Would the Science of Earth Systems be a better choice? Does it really matter? I'd like to complete the courses needed for pre-med, but also do Physics/Education coursework, too. I've been to Honduras three times to volunteer at a health clinic and nutrition center, so I'd like to take courses pertaining to international development as well. Is there an "Undecided" choice on the application?

You can complete the pre-med coursework regardless of your college or major.

You should look into the interdisciplinary studies program at CALS. It’s an independent major where you design your own program of study in consultation with CALS faculty.
