Which major is better human services or liberal arts?

which one is better and why?

What are you talking about??

Liberal arts isn’t a major (but i’ve heard of liberal studies). Liberal arts just refers to humanities + social sciences + science, like English, Politics, Physics, History, Biology, etc - all the majors that are purely academic and don’t teach real-world applications.

I’ve never heard of a Human Services major but I googled it and I can tell you don’t need a degree in human services to do a job in human services. A traditional liberal arts major like Sociology or Economics might leave you with more options imo.

liberal arts is a philosophy or method of education, not a major

its application is indirect; it’s not specialised and it’s not supposed to be, any more than calculus class is not necessarily meant for fluid mechanics.
