what are the most popular or common majors? i know business and science are popular but neither interests me..what aresome of your majors?

On my application it had a spot for intended major. I already know what I wanted, so I filled it out. Many people put undecided, because they aren't sure.

Anyway, my major will be Political Science. However, I'm also thinking of double majoring with Poli Sci and either Journalism or History.

I plan on majoring in Psychology and it seems to be a popular major at most colleges.

Don't worry about putting undecided. Lots of people aren't sure what they want to study yet.

I'm planning on studying English, Comparative Literature or Spanish.

yeah i applied to 6 schools so far...on some i put history, others i put psycchology...since i plan to start on my major this semester, would it be idfficult for them to switch it from psych to history?

Most schools do not require freshman to declare majors. Many students change their majors once, twice, or even thrice during undergrad. The most popular majors seem to be psychology, English, economics, biology, history, and political science.

Don't pick a major because it's popular. Pick a major that you like. It's fine to be undecided for the time being, once you take a few courses in college you'll get a better idea of what you like and what you don't. Once in college you still have plenty of time to make a decision.
