Which Major/University should I choose?

I was accepted to both PSU Main and UPitt. I definitely plan on going to Grad School for an MBA or Law.

Career Aspirations: Sports Agent, Lawyer, Financial Analyst, Investment Banker or Stockbroker

Choices: Penn State (Main Campus) or University of Pittsburgh (Main Campus)

If I go to Penn State, Ill double major in Business Management (Smeal) & Economics (Liberal Arts)

I cant get into Finance at PSU because I have a 3.2 GPA not the required 3.5.

If I go to UPitt, I'd strictly major in Finance.

Which university would you attend if you were in my situation.

For some of your career aspirations (analyst, stock broker) you are likely going to need a finance major or at least a cluster of finance classes, which would necessitate going to Pitt. PSU has the arguably superior business program. Business management, however, won’t really get you anywhere in business except a seat in grad school.

I would see if you have the ability to transfer into the finance program after freshman year or if you can still take finance classes despite not being a finance major at PSU.

Are you a transfer student or freshman?

Im a sophomore going to be a junior in the Fall. Im at a Penn state branch campus.

still looking for more advice

I would do penn state without hesitation. Go as far as you can with math and economics classes and take some accounting and mis courses. If you do that you will be well positioned for any finance career.
