i recently transferred to cal poly pomona
i got in for international business
but am now given the opportunity to change my major to marketing management
i am looking for the best major that will offer me more job opportunities when i graduate.
should i stay in international business or change to markerting

Sorry to rain on your parade, but neither one is really that good when it comes to job opportunities.

I’d expect the job prospects to be similar, so go with what the on that interests you the most. You could also stop by the career center to perhaps get a better handle on employment prospects. Do you have language and cultural skills that might help on the international side?

I suspect the best job prospects from the business school would be for accounting majors, but that doesn’t do you any good if you don’t want to work in that industry.

@NYCguy2020 you sir are a dyck

@arc918 thank you. i speak spanish so maybe that will help me

@mito818, No need to resort to name calling. The guy was pointing out the truth.

But out of those 2 international business is probably the best and most flexible choice as you wont have to fight against the droves of unemployed psychology and liberal arts majors as much as you would in marketing.

@Ultimablade Thank you. Seems like my honest comment might have hurt his wittle feelings…lol
