Can I send my First trial Exams which will be held in the month of December instead of sending my half yearly exams???? Unfortunately I was suffering from mumps and couldn't well in the half yearly exams. I am in 12th grade by the way.

If you are applying for EA, then you’d have to send the grades of half yearly exams as the transcript has to be sent before Nov 1 (generally, but check out the universities you are applying). But if you are applying for regular decision, then you can send first trial exams grades.
BTW, first trial exams are pre board, right?

thanks SM1995

Is it necessary to attached the grades of 11th class or we can get only official grades from cbse that is 9th and 10th class as i am currently in 12th

Yes, you do have to send 11th grade marksheet. 9/10/11 Final markshhet and mid-semester/Half-yearly for class 12.

Just curious why do you not want to send 11th class grades…

Because i got only 50% in my 11th
Does it affect my selection… I got 8.3cgpa in class IX and 9.2 in class X and 95% in my XII half yearly.

Yes you do have to send the 11th grade marks.

But since you seem to have recovered in 12th, you could explain the reason for the bad grades in 11th in many ways.

By attaching a note if you were sick or something on the transcript.

You Counsellor could explain that as well.

You essay could also show that as strength…determination, recovery, resilient, learning from your mistakes, realisation, growing up, taking charge of your life…

Thank you so much for reply. But what are my chances
MY application contain-
IX-8.3
X-9.2
XI-50%
XII-95%
Sat1-2400
Sat Subject math level 2-800
Sat subject Physics -800
I have good vocal and I would send my audio with letter. of recommendation from music teacher.
I have research paper for the topic semi-conductor and would be sending detail of it with the note from my chemistry teacher about the research paper.
I am good in cricket and perform record performance in jamia university and got certificate from the university.
I got certificate from NGO for my academic excellence.
I would be applying to these colleges-
-MIT
-Harvard
-Cornell
-Stanford
-university of Illinois at urban campaign.
In all these colleges i would be applying for scholarship especially in Cornell for TATA scholarship.

@Danish Instead of applying to all ivies and dream school, why don’t you apply to one or two safe/reach school?

I do not understand. what is safe/reach school?

Roughly I would define them as,

‘Reach’ schools are where your stats match the top 25 percentile of admitted students of the last class freshman class ie. class of 2018 for the colleges that you are applying to.

‘Match’ schools would be where your stats match the middle 50 percentile of admitted students.

‘Safety’ would be where your stats are better than the bottom 25 percentile of admitted students.

So when you spread your 10 applications, to say for the sake of an arguement, 10 percent to reach schools, 60 percent to match schools and 30 percent to safeties, you sort of increase your chances of getting admitted way more than if you would put all your eggs(applications) in one basket(Reach).

The college admissions in US are, at the end of the day, a lottery. Nobody can predict for sure.

Also read post number 3 here, you could also go through the rest of the thread if you want.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/india/1413006-all-new-applicants-process-timeline.html

I read your all post and they are really helpful.
Now reading my application details whats are
Safety colleges
Probable colleges
and Reach colleges for me as i just do not know much about colleges of usa. And i am fully dependent on financial aid.

Very few highly selective colleges offer need blind aid to International students. International students are not eligible for financial aid in most colleges.

The ones that do offer are very competitive, one has to be really best of the best. And on top of that the quota for International Students in the colleges with most diversity at best would be 10 percent. And that 10 percent would cover students from all over the world. So please understand that before you start building any expectations.

And most candidates applying would have that nearly perfect SAT score. So it is a lottery. But you should give it a try without a doubt.

Just have a look at these stats and you will get an idea.

You are very welcome. Keep in mind, the more you read and research, the better your understanding of what criteris to keep in mind, the better your understanding and so you increase your chances of finding a fit. There is no short cut. And you need to be involved yourself. No one here can do it for you. There are no simple and direct answers.

But you will find a lot of help, if and when you have doubts or queries, here on CC, that I can assure you of. So get going and all the best.
