SUGGESTIONS!!!

And is it really an oppurtunity ....???(21-259/60???)

wat was ur initial calc placement?....i think u should stick with that....otherwise u would have to cover some topics that u didn't do here (in cbse/icse) by urself...

If your calc credit was zero, then 259 and 260 are not available to you - you'll have to take 21-120, I think. 21-122 (the course that you take after 120) is a prereq for 21-259, and probably for 21-260 as well. I recommend against taking 21-259 and 260 unless you're quite confident about your calculus ability.

I suggest you to take 21-120, cause sats are stupid exams and don't give any info about your calculus level. If you'll go for 21-122, you might be ****ed up with the intensity of the course.

How these courses work is like this. There are four topics: differential calc, integral calc, differential equations, and approximation. 21-120 and 122 go together; 120 covers the first two of those and 122 covers the last two. 21-121 covers the middle two (integral calc and diffeq) and its companion course 21-123 is a mini (half a semester course) that covers approximation. The 121->123 course sequence is for people who have had differential calc and no more.

Hopefully this info will help you choose the right course.
