Which MATH IIC book do you guys use/recommend?

Well, which one are you guys using/recomemend? I took a look at that big fat offical book for all subject tests and it didn't seem like it'd be too helpful (Just 1 practice test and an overview of the subjects). Which books should I look at and how do they compare to the actual test?

yea. Everyone says barrons is pretty bad so what would be recommended?

Unless you are short of time, Barron's is the best.

i'd second foil.. its not that barrons is bad... it is just over-preparatory... if you have around 2 weeks for the test, you'll do fine with barrons...

I'd go with sparknotes (free online) and princeton review...barrons...is just too much basic stuff and stuff you dont actually have to know (most of which you probably already do)....so if you're in it for the learning, go with barrons, if you're in it for the score, i say princeton and sparknotes.

get PR and use the CB tests

barrons is horrible, kaplan is full of mistakes, and sparknotes is too easy (but the next best thing to PR)

I am reading free online sparknotes. Does it help or is it really too easy?I don't have much time to study other books either. I have my SATII next week. And what about sparknotes practice test?Has anybody found it useful ?

barron's is hard as mess.
but if you can get 650+ in barron's prac. test, you should be in good shape cuse
the real ML2 is wayyy easier than barron's

sorry about dbl post.

i never used sparknotes, so cant say anything, but i studied with the barron's book the night before and i did fine.

have you taken precalc or calc? if you have, just take the prac tests from prep books.

If you're studying night before/two nights before like I did, just use PR and do practice tests, then look up what you don't understand in the book.

No point in going through Barrons and learning unnecessary things, unless you really want to waste time.

where can you get the collegeboard SAT II practice tests? online or seperate book?

Kaplan's is not bad.

I'm using Barron's.

Okay, so sparknotes + Barrons/PR then?

How do you get the collegeboard tests?

is the princeton review book a combination of both the level 2 and 1? just making sure.

tip for everyone: people should put the book that they used and their Math IIC score for evidence.

i used kaplan and i got an 800. i cant garauntee it was becuz of the kaplan book tho. i just bought it cuz i needed to review formulas and i found it to be helpful. and i thought the practice tests were helpful except for a couple WEIRD problems that def. didnt show up on the exam

edit-oh yeah i bought the book the weekend before. and i ended up cramming the two nights before the test. i skipped school on that friday to study cuz i was freaking out hah. but u have time in 2 days to read through everything and do some practice
