I'm one of those juniors who is taking Alg2/Trig. Except, I go to a hard school and because I am taking Trig H as junior, I am allowed to skip Pre-cal altogether and jump straight into Calculus (whichever one I qualify for). Do you think I can handle SAT Math IIC? Is there a significant amount of topics tested on the IIC that are not covered in Trig? Would it be possible to learn those topics on my own? If not, do you think it's worth taking IC? I've heard colleges don't really take it seriously. Any advice is appreciated.

best suggestion is to pickup CB's REal Subject Tests and take a practice test for Math 2. (I would guess that you would do well.) Note, the 'curve' for Math 2 is much more forgiving than Math 1 -- you can miss 6-8 problems and still score an 800 on Math 2.

O, wow, sounds like a nice curve. Thanx for your advice, I'll pick up a copy of the book at the library.

Anyone else?
