which MBA schools do I aim for?

Looking for a top 20 MBA school that has strong ties to Asia (recruited heavily to all the top US companies in Asia) as well as strong finance + technology focus.

That's my only requirement... which schools fit this bill?

Thanks

The recruitment at top US schools are generally from US companies. However, here’s few schools that have strong reputations in Asia and you may leverage the reputation to find jobs.
Harvard/Stanford - strong world wide brand
Berkeley (Haas) - strong brand is Asia due to strong alumni network
Duke (Fuqua) - global brand, is building a campus in China near Shanghai.
Michigan (Ross) - strong brand in Korea due to strong alumni network

If you are looking for top international school, INSEAD has strong connections in Asia.

Wharton, HBS
Stanford, MIT
Berkeley
Chicago, Northwestern, Columbia
LBS, INSEAD, Cambridge, Michigan, Duke, Cornell, UCLA
CMU

basically, just go to the best school possible, period. don’t worry too much about specialty rankings and whatnot.

Akio Toyoda went to Babson College for his MBA

Yale, Harvard, Princeton- these schools are hard-er if you’re asian
while school like Berkeley , MIT might be easier to get in

Since you mentioned technology, I strongly encourage you to check out the program at Carnegie Mellon University. If you have any experience in engineering or math it might be a perfect fit for you. Recent averages have been a 3.3 GPA and 690 GMAT.
