<p>I volunteered the past 2 years during move in and it seemed like the last day was the least hectic - but there are obvious cons to waiting til the last day. My experience on campus during those first few days is that it’s basically a mad rush of people from mid-morning until 6PM or so, then it tends to slow down. I feel like the earlier parts of the morning are less busy, since people will be hanging out and walking around campus during evenings even if they’re not moving in.</p>
