Which of these are better in terms of job placement??

I've got my final college list and I wanted to know what was better for career opportunities/job placement.

I think would like to go into investment banking or some other business oriented career. I'd rather it be with a big company (aka Charles Shwab Citigroup etc..), and I'd like to work in a big city (NYC SF Chicago DC etc...) keeping in mind a possible MBA later on after I've got the work experience.

I plan on majoring in economics and/or engineering depending on the university I'm accepted to. Here's the list:

1-Cornell University
2-Brandeis University
3-McGill University
4-University of Illinois-Urbana champaign
5-Case Western Reserve University
6-Babson College
7-Trinity College
8-University of Maryland-College Park
9-Purdue University-West Lafayette
10-Indiana University Bloomington

Thanks for any replies!

You have a very diverse and inconsistent group of universities. Babson and Cornell? Trinity and UIUC?

At any rate, Cornell, McGill and the UIUC are probably the top 3 for what you want.

Well a business/economic major is my 1st priority, engineering is something that interests me and is useful for almost any field you go into...or so I'm told...I'm not basing my decision entirely on the engineering aspect it would be just a plus...

Ok, so why aren't schools like Cal, CMU, Chicago, Michigan, Northwestern, Penn etc... on your list? I mean, with the exception of Cornell and maybe McGill and UIUC, none of the schools you are looking at really fit your interests.

Purdue is excellent for business and engineering and good econ....Indiana is exellent for business and good 4 econ....trinity college is great for econ....case western is great for engineering and good for econ and business....UMD CP is great econ engineering and business....brandeis is great econ....babson is great business

I base this on many rating systems, many stats, personal accounts, and my college counselor...I don't see how they don't fit my interests maybe I didn't make myself clear on the 1st post, but your accusation has put me a bit worried.

ECON is my #1 choice
then engineering then business

Solaris1077...study up for the grammar sections of the SAT.

Just so long as you understand what does it matter??
im well aware of the errors

How about you guys just answer the question? Geez. I want to know as well. So, which of the schools on his list are better in terms of job placement?
