I currently go to a crappy state school. Trying to transfer to a Top 50 school of the Fall 2012 semester. However, before I do that, I plan on taking a elective summer course this summer. Something that get me an easy A.

Which of these two courses do you think will be more likely to transfer?

Intro to Geology
Intro to Astronomy

I really don't want to spend $600+ for a course that won't even transfer.

I would say Astronomy, but I will say that colleges look at WHAT courses you are taking in addition to how many. Skating by on easy courses may give you a better GPA, but don’t think the schools you’re looking to attend won’t realize it.

Most likely the Intro to Geology. Generally, if the school you’re attempting to transfer offers the course, then there is a high chance the course will transfer. Try looking at the schools course catalog and see which one they offer.

Personally, I would take the Geology course. More universal than astronomy.

lol. I just realized I can’t take either of these classes because of the time they start.

I guess I’ll have to take either:
Intro to Philosophy
Intro to Religions
or Principles of Biology

However, these courses don’t say who the professors will be, and I don’t want to register for a class without seeing the professor’s ratemyprofessors page first.
