what i mean to say is which ones contact you, and which ones are “optional” you contact them.
<p>For JHU, you may call the Admissions Office to schedule an on-campus interview up until the application deadline. If you are out of the area, you fill out the request on their admissions website requesting a local alumni interview, and you should be contacted within one week by an interviewer in your area to arrange a convenient place and time. Alumni interviews are available between Sept. 1 and Dec. 1. </p>

<p>My penn interviewer called me and we set up an interview. Although I got my app in really early, so that may have been a bonus.</p>
