Out of Auburn University, University of Alabama, and Clemson University... which one would be more accepting of a Hispanic student lol?

I know the percentages are generally the same at each school, but which student body, as well as local community (Tuscaloosa, Auburn, Clemson) would be the most open to a Mexican student?

Weird question I know lol, just wondering where I'd feel the most comfortable.

I think it’s really dependent on each person’s experience. I don’t think there’s a clear cut favorite among each of these schools. If you want, I can give you someone’s email (who is hispanic) and you can talk to them about their experience at Clemson - as an Asian at Clemson, it was uncomfortable at first but most people were nice (always are exceptions but rare) and I got used to it.

Are the locals kind toward minorities too lol? How rare is it to see a hispanic or asian? I’m actually half filipino/half mexican, but I guess I resemble more of a hispanic so I just kept it at that in my question lol.

I haven’t witnessed anything that would cause me to say that they aren’t kind towards minorities. There are lots of international students from Pakistan/India/Bangladesh and there’s a decent amount of asians on campus, definitely not a lot of hispanics though.

As you can probably tell from the statistics, diversity isn’t really something you will find in the south. At most, diversity is just white and black.
