Robert Ternansky
Joseph Oconnor
Charles Perrin
Stanley Opella
Whose class is easier to get an A in?
Who gives more resources?

everyone else >>>> opella

for grades, use that link that has grade distributions from previous years. someone (momosky?) linked to it on a previous thread. but they’ll be pretty even across the board. RT/JO/CP have been teaching for ages and all do it very well. RT’s teaching style is a bit more colorful than the others, which i generally prefer (but it’s not for everyone).

^ holy **** how did I not know about that?! thanks for posting the link.

I don’t know anything about Perrin or Opella. However, I know that Ternansky is probably the best Ochem teacher in the school. The material on his tests is difficult, definitely intimidating. However, you may gain the most intellectually by taking his class.
I took OConnor for 140A and I personally liked him. The material he tested on was very fair and relevant. He’s also quite funny. That being said, his lectures aren’t completely organized. He is extremely knowledgeable about the subject so he pretty much wings it, which worked for the most part.
